I came across Sophrology when I was working as a midwife in Japan. Sophrology is relatively well known in my country as a non-pharmacological pain relief for child birth.
After I moved to Australia, I decided to study Sophrology in depth, hoping to adapt it for all people, not only for pregnant women. Sophrology is for men and women of all ages and for anybody who wants to improve their health and happiness. Sophrology has enormous potential to help everyone at any point in the journey of life.
As a midwife, I have delivered more than 200 babies and carried out antenatal and postnatal classes in Tokyo and London. I am now adapting my professional experience into my Sophrology exercises.
I am also very enthusiastic about helping women who want to become mothers. I struggled to become pregnant myself and went through infertility treatment. I have a deep understanding and sympathy for how stressful it can be to wait for a baby. Sophrology can take the mental stress away and help women to become pregnant naturally.
